Guelph - Tuesday Evening - Buddhism 101

A series of 4 classes: 7:00pm - 8:30pm

These special courses are designed to introduce the basic teachings and practices of Buddhism, focusing on topics such as "What is the mind?", "What is karma?",
"What happens after we die?", " what are samsara and nirvana?" and "What is the most meaningful use of our human life?" The classes include talks, guided meditations, discussion, an introduction to buddhist chanting and plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
The course is led by experienced Buddhist Teachers, who can answer any questions you may have and explain Buddhist view and practice from a practical point of view, relevant to our contemporary lives.
Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy these relaxing and thought-provoking classes.

One course is $35. Free for Centre Card holders. Please pre-register for this course by phone or e-mail.



All Guelph classes & prayers are held at 42 Quebec Street –the yellow door across from The Bookshelf. This location is wheelchair accessible.

If you would like to take the elevator to our location on the 2nd floor, please ring the doorbell at 21 Chapel Lane (across from the Baker St Parking lot at the back of our building). Someone will come to assist you.

Please note that parking is free in the Baker St lot on weekday evenings after 6:30pm & all day Saturdays and Sundays. Street parking in downtown Guelph is free for two hours each weekday.
