Practicing Meditation

By practicing Buddha's teachings, or Dharma, we protect
ourselves from suffering and problems. All the problems we experience
during daily life originate in our negative responses and our mistaken
views, particularly in our self-grasping ignorance, and the method for
eliminating this ignorance is to practice Dharma.
Practicing Dharma is the supreme method for improving the quality of
our human life because the quality of life depends not upon external
development or material progress, but upon the inner development of
peace and happiness.
Meditation is the method to put Dharma into practice, making our mind
clear and free from distractions and then mixing our mind with the
teachings we have received.
Through becoming familiar with positive attitudes and thoughts,
meditation gives us a lasting experience of peace, improved health,
happier relationships with others, and a more relaxed approach to life.
Buddha's teachings offer very practical advice that we can use to solve
our everyday problems and help others.
Classes consist of guided meditations, talks, and discussion. They are
suitable for both beginners and the more experienced.
Each class is self-contained, feel free to drop in any time.

which is open at other times for private practice.
